Pipeline Plus carry a large stock of both magnetic (Detectable) and non-magnetic underground marker tape.
Marker tape contains a warning message and is placed above the service pipe so that during any future excavations the marker tape will be uncovered and warn the contractor of the service pipe below before damaging the pipeline.
Since 31st December 2014 marker tape used to identify pipelines carrying water has to conform to BS1710:2014.
This means that using plain blue marker tape for pipelines carrying any type of water no longer meets regulations.
